J.P. Jordan’s book Numbers Game was a blast for me to read. The author’s writing kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. There are no wasted words or sentences but instead each paragraph held something that led to the final act. The pages flew by and kept my attention as I read the story which takes place in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Young, bubbly detective Anisa Taylor is paired with gruff, aging, veteran detective Chuck Nowitzke to investigate the death of Senator Anthony Hecht, who died at a fundraising event. Shortly before his death, the senator was seen with a lovely redheaded woman who has suddenly disappeared. During the investigation, the detective notice similarities from some cold cases adding to the intrigue.
Numbers Game is a must-read for mystery lovers.
