Wisconsin Writers Association celebrates 75 Years of Success Stories. Learn about the background of this historic organization, the contest winners, and historical highlights from its founding in 1948 through 2023.

In honor of WWA’s 75^th anniversary, WWA Press republished The Windmill Man: the story of Robert E Gard, founder of Wisconsin Rural Writers Association, progenitor of WWA, the first book originally published by WWA Press, and compiled material from the 50^th anniversary booklet as well as editions of years of publications.

Wisconsin Writers Association is proud to help keep these memories alive as part of our mission to provide a structured fellowship of amateur and professional writers who support and assist fellow writers with all phases, types, and categories of writing.
