From the Boxing Ring to the Boardroom

Being bullied as a south-side Milwaukee child can elicit many kinds of responses. For Hector Colon, his childhood trials led to the United Community Center boxing program (and seven subsequent USA National boxing titles).

This same fierce determination to succeed nurtured in him the virtues of magnanimity, humility, courage, fortitude and temperance. Now, as CEO/President of Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan, Hector daily embraces these personal and deep-rooted virtues.

For the first time, Hector Colon and Judith Gwinn Adrian will introduce Hector’s journey and the 2020 book, "From the Boxing Ring to the Boardroom."
