Bio

A retired teacher, Jerry McGinley has published numerous poems, stories and books. He also edited two online and one in-print creative writing magazines. His novel A DRIFTLESS MURDER won the 2022 Midwest Book Award for Fiction/Mystery. He has completed a seven-book mystery series featuring detectives Pat Donegal and Shea Sommers. His most recent novel is titled DUST UNDER OUR FEET and chronicles a hundred years in the lives of a family of immigrants who traveled from Ireland to America in the 1840s and established a farming empire in southwestern Wisconsin. All of his novels are set in Wisconsin. McGinley lives in Waunakee.
