Valerie Biel is an award-winning author and book publicist / marketer. Her books include the Circle of Nine fantasy series, stories of magic steeped in Celtic mythology; IBPA silver medalist, HAVEN, a middle-grade novel handling the tough topic of domestic abuse; and Midwest Book Award Winner BEYOND THE CEMETERY GATE, a suspenseful mystery. She holds a degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin. She edits manuscripts and develops / implements marketing & publicity plans for other authors, and frequently teaches writing and publishing topics online and at conferences.
