Bio
A retired high school English teacher, I now get to read and write whatever I want, though I’m that weirdo who loved teaching “The Scarlet Letter,” “The Great Gatsby,” and “Their Eyes Were Watching God” year after year. My current favorite writers include Barbara Kingsolver, David Sedaris and Wally Lamb.
As for writing, I’ve published movie reviews, a one-act play, short stories, poems and essays. Thanks to the WWA, I now have a full-length book called "My Homecoming Dance: Reflections on Teaching in Wisconsin."
