Bio
Kerri Lukasavitz is the award-winning author of the middle grade series including: Mystery Horse at Oak Lane Stable (Book 1), Gray Horse at Oak Lane Stable (Book 2), Dark Horse at Oak Lane Stable (Book 3), and Ghost Horse at Oak Lane Stable (Book 4 - coming Oct, 2023). Her books were Silver Medal Finalists for the 2022 & 2021 MiPA Book Awards and 2022 Purple Dragonfly Winners. She won the 2020 Lakefly Flash Fiction Writing Contest and the 2019 Hal Prize for Nonfiction. She has a BFA from MIAD and an MA in Creative Writing from Mount Mary University.
She lives with her husband on her family’s Wisconsin farm, where she grew up loving horses and was surrounded by the natural beauty of the Kettle Moraine.
