Bio
I began studying the craft of writing in 2011, taking online classes through UW-Madison's Continuing Studies Writing Program. I grew up and live in the Midwest. A deep dive into the burning, bright center of my experiences and observations helps me create my characters and stories. I am a pre-published writer with a completed fiction manuscript, seventy-five pages written on a second fiction manuscript, a draft proposal for a creative non-fiction memoir, and a plethora of multiple format poetry. I intend to be a Published Author.
I won 2nd place for my genre fiction entry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s 2020 Writers’ Institute Page & Poem Contest. I lead a small local writing discussion group.
