Bio

Greetings! My name is Jody Whelden. I am working on the final (I hope! LOL) draft of a coming-of-age novel. This is the first book in a series about Emma, a 16-year-old on the New Hampshire coast, learning to embrace her special sensory gifts. In addition, I am a speaker/teacher on spirit-body-mind health. My first publication was an inspirational tale called Stopping by the Side of the Road, A Tale About Dying (2015/Radiant Heart Press-Milwaukee). Often, readers say it is the most positive book dying that they have read. This short illustrated book is based on my experience as a hospital chaplain.
