Tad Phippen Wente, Port Washington, explores life's ironies and nature. Publications include a 2024 novel, In a Small Space; a chapbook: Lunch on the Moon; Wisconsin Poets' Calendars; Blue Heron Review; Responding: A Conversation in Color; and From Everywhere a Little: A Migration Anthology. Tad earned a M.A. in Creative Writing/English from UWM and gains motivation from Iowa’s Summer Writing Festival and the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets. She taught high school English, Journalism, and Creative Writing for 40 years, advised student publications, and helped found Sheboygan's Étude High School, where teachers are like artists-in-residence.
