Wisconsin Writers Association is pleased to provide this book review service for our members. WWA authors are asked to limit review requests to 1 per year per calendar year. Completed reviews will be posted on the WWA website, and a link to the full review will appear in the monthly news release. Books of most genres except for pornographic or libelous material may be submitted. Not included in this program are individual short stories, poems, or articles that appear on websites or other social media sites, ezines, anthologies, print magazines, or newspapers but we do encourage you to support all of our authors by visiting their blogs and articles. Books of any publication date are acceptable. Self-published material that has been edited by a third party is acceptable.

The review program is offered on a volunteer basis, and a request is not a guarantee of review.

At this time the WWA Book Review Program is a perk of WWA membership. Only WWA members should apply. To join WWA click here https://wiwrite.org/about-wwa-2/join.

Send submissions to request a book review to Lisa Lickel, Book Review Coordinator, lisalickel@yahoo.com and include the following information.

    Exciting News!!

Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine and the Wisconsin Writers Association are pleased to announce a new pilot partnership to provide opportunity and encouragement for Wisconsin writers.

Published since 1954 by the Wisconsin Academy, Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine celebrates Wisconsin ideas through thoughtful essays about our people and culture, original creative writing and artwork, and informative articles about innovation across the disciplines.

A nonprofit that encourages, educates, supports, and promotes its member writers, the Wisconsin Writers Association, founded in 1948, hosts the annual Jade Ring Contest, which is open to all Wisconsin writers.

Beginning in July 2019, the two organizations will pilot a partnership to bring the works of the WWA’s Jade Ring Contest award winners to a broader audience through publication in Wisconsin People & Ideas and support each other through potential collaborative events.

Watch your mailbox! The Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine is sending a free copy of their summer issue to every WWA member!

Just one more super perk of being a WWA Member...
