Bill lives in Middleton, Wisconsin;. but was born in Tacoma, WA; growing up in an "ethnically diverse" neighborhood before anyone even knew what that meant. He served 3 years in the USMC, then started a newspaper in Lafayette, CO. Pedigreed from CU (Econ) led to a busy life, living in numerous places (including 5 yrs in Saudi Arabia and visiting every continent).
