Thomas Wayne KingRun, hike, ski…write!  Tom Wayne King is professor emeritus, UW-Eau Claire, a retired clinical speech-language pathologist, and author of  Assistive Technology: Essential Human Factors (Boston: Allyn & Bacon), among many textbooks, chapters and articles. He creates Northland tales, raps and rhymes, including recent books  Tales from the Red Pump,  Sailor of the Sun,  Neighborhood of Bears, and  Snow Socks…plus 9 LP albums. Tom is an energetic, awarded speaker. He and Debbi share creative forest lives in rural Douglas County, inspired by their woolly registered Icelandic sheep at Sunny Cove Farm, overlooking blue, wild Lake Superior.
