Robert Chesney holds a Master of Arts degree in literature from Marquette University and has taught high school English for 34 years. A long time member of WWA and the Moraine Writers Guild, his work has appeared in Creative Wisconsin, Life Story magazine, and other publications. His award-winning story “Gottleib’s Charge” appeared in the Journal of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. He produces their Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter newsletter. He volunteers as a teacher naturalist at Saukville’s Riveredge Nature Center. His poem about French artist Claude Monet’s home will appear in The Blue Heron Review’s July 2016 issue.
