Since 2014, the Novel-In-Progress Bookcamp & Writing Retreat offers two concurrent small enrollment, residential writing programs providing advice and encouragement to help writers advance their book-length projects to publication. The Writing Retreat provides six days of personal writing time in a tranquil yet energized, writing-focused setting surrounded by fellow writers and publishing pros. Held at a 100-acre rural Wisconsin retreat with comfortable accommodations. Both programs are open to writers in any fiction genre or creative non-fiction genre, Poets also can enroll in the Retreat. A completed manuscript is not necessary to enroll. The NIP staff works with writers at any stage of the creative process from initial idea development to polished first draft.
