Larry Scheckel

   LarryScheckel Photo copyLarry Scheckel grew up on a family farm in the hill country of southwestern Wisconsin, one of nine children and attended a one-room country school. He started teaching in 1972 and retired, along with his wife, Ann, in 2010. Larry has been named Tomah Teacher of the Year three times, and Presidential Awardee at the state level for six years.
  Larry has authored three books; Ask Your Science Teacher, Ask A Science Teacher, and Seneca Seasons: A Farm Boy Remembers. A columnist for the Tomah Journal, Larry has written 700 weekly columns. Larry and Ann live in Tomah.
